The Spain international is aware of the stiff competition for places, but is feeling very well under new head coach Tito VilanovaBarcelona attacker Pedro has stressed that he is happy with the playing time he has been getting under head coach Tito Vilanova.
The Spain international faces stiff competition for a starting berth at the Catalans, but is quite pleased with the way things are going so far as he accepts that becoming a key figure at Camp Nou is not easy.
"It’s always complicated to play for Barca. Each year I have had to fight for a spot," Pedro was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"You have to earn your place and work hard. The objective is to help my team-mates, the more minutes on the pitch and the more games I play, the better.
"Tito is giving me a lot of confidence. I’m very comfortable with my position in the team and I’m working well with my team-mates."
Pedro, 25, has netted once in eight La Liga appearances this term.
