The experienced shot-stopper has enjoyed success both at club and international level, and the former Mexico star has nothing but positive words for the Blancos ace
The Spain international has been touted as a potential candidate to win the Fifa Ballon d'Or after impressing at Euro 2012, and the Mexico legend has nothing but praise for the 31-year-old shot-stopper.
"Casillas is the best goalkeeper in the world. His reflexes and reactions make him unique. He's a leader both on and off the pitch and always appears at the most important moment in the match," Campos was quoted as saying on the official Madrid website.
"He's a modest guy and an excellent person, in spite of everything he has won. He's a very special guy who has earned worldwide recognition. He has a lot to teach young goalkeepers."
Casillas became the first footballer in history to win 100 international matches when La Roja beat Italy in the Euro 2012 final, and has also won the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2008, as well as making over 600 appearances for Madrid.
Campos won 130 caps for Mexico over a 13-year career.
