Isla: I know that I will play for Real Madrid someday

The Chilean talent is on the verge of completing a move to the Old Lady, but a dream transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu remains firmly in his thoughts
Udinese midfielder Mauricio Isla has revealed that he maintains hope of playing for Real Madrid in the future, despite being set to join Juventus.

The Chile international is understood to be on the verge of completing a transfer to Juve, having undergone a medical with the Bianconeri in recent days.

Madrid were credited with an interest in Isla's services earlier in the summer, and the 24-year-old has not lost hope that he will ply his trade at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"I have faith in what I am and I know that I will play at Real Madrid," he told Terra Chile.

Isla then stated that he is recovering well from a knee injury that ruled him out of the final weeks of last season.

"I am doing some exercises in the gym and some ball work," the Chilean affirmed.
