The Blaugrana are apparently willing to allow the centre-back move to Seville given he will need game time after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in Januaryhere.
Real Betis are reportedly keen on signing Andreu Fontas on loan from La Liga rivals Barcelona for next season.
The 22-year-old defender has been out of action since suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury during the Blaugrana's Copa del Rey second-leg clash with Osasuna on January 12.
However, according to Estadiodeportivo, Betis are hoping to lure Fontas to Seville this summer, with Barca said to be willing to farm the player out for a year in order to secure him regular first-team football.
It is believed that the Catalans are hoping to make the proposed loan a part of their bid to land Real Betis B player Sergio Rodriguez.
Barca are said to be willing to pay €1.5 million (£1.2m) for the 19-year-old attacker and offer Betis the option to buy him back after two seasons.
