Barcelona - Real Madrid Clasico expected to attract 400 million viewers

The crunch Primera Division meeting in Catalunya will go some way to deciding this season's La Liga champions, and will be seen by interested spectators from all over the world
A total of 400 million viewers are expected to watch Saturday's Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at Camp Nou.

As many as 780 media professionals, who work for 133 media platforms from 31 different countries, have been approved to provide coverage of the game between the Spanish rivals.

There will be 74 newspaper and magazine representatives, 16 agencies, four radio stations and 39 TV channels present at the stadium.

The majority of the media platforms involved are from Europe, but there will also be coverage teams from USA, Israel, Qatar, Japan and Malaysia.

Barcelona go into the game four points adrift of current Primera Division leaders Real Madrid, with five games left to play.
