The Sao Paulo-based club are closing in on the defender, who has spent the last four years on loan after failing to get a place at the Camp Nou outfit
The 25-year-old stopper signed for Barca in 2008 in an £6.6 million deal but failed to impose himself at the Catalan club, spending one season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen and two at Racing Santander.
He returned to Palmeiras on a season-long loan in 2011, and the Sao Paulo-based club are now on the brink of re-signing the player permanently for an undisclosed fee.
"Henrique has already signed everything he had to sign," Marcos Malaquias told Lancenet.
"The final details have been taken care of and the announcement is now a mere formality. Everything is settled."
It is believed that Henrique, who has been an ever present in Palmeiras' defence under Luiz Felipe Scolari, has signed a contract with the Brazilian club until 2017.
