Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo thankful for fans' support
The Portuguese attacker has expressed his happiness with the affection shown towards him by the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, after being booed by supporters earlier this term

Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he is grateful for the recent chants at the Santiago Bernabeu in support of him.
The former Manchester United star was booed by the capital city-side’s supporters earlier this season and consequently complained about a lack of affection shown to him, which led to rumours that he was unhappy at Madrid.
Nevertheless, Cristiano Ronaldo now seems to have reconciled with the fans following the chants during last weekend's 3-1 win over Real Zaragoza.
"I really appreciate the affection shown to me at the Bernabeu last weekend," Ronaldo told AS.
The prolific attacker currently leads the goalscoring charts in Spain with 24 strikes in 20 La Liga appearances.
