Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has yet another injury to manage as Xabi Alonso is in doubt for Saturday's trip to Getafe, AS reports.

The 30-year-old midfielder, who was replaced by Lassana Diarra on the hour mark of Saturday's 3-1 victory against Zaragoza, is suffering from muscular overload in his right leg.

His recovery time has not been announced by Madrid's medical department, but it is believed that the problem could rule him out for at least a week.

Xabi Alonso joins Marcelo on the club's treatment table, with the defender also nursing a muscle strain, which could see them both miss the away tie against Getafe.

The match at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez kicks off at 20.00CET.
