Official: Villarreal confirm the signing of Fluminense's Alejandro Martinuccio
The Argentine is set to link up with his new teammates on Thursday and will spend the rest of the season at El Madrigal.
By Enis Koylu
With Giuseppe Rossi missing for a large chunk of this season, the Madrigal outfit deem Martinuccio the right man to get them firing in the second half of the season, despite scoring just one goal this season.
The 24-year-old enjoyed two years at Penarol in Uruguay before moving to Fluminense in Brazil last year.
Matinuccio will join his new team-mates on Thursday in light of Villareal's away clash against Sevilla on 5 February.
