The Brazilian right-back is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Copa del Rey clash against the 2011 cup winners and expects the showdown to be evenly balanced regardless of formBarcelona defender Dani Alves is looking forward to Wednesday's first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final tie with Real Madrid, and added that the Catalans always enjoy locking horns with their arch-rivals.
The upcoming encounter is the fourth Clasico of the 2011-12 campaign after previous meetings for the Spanish Supercopa and La Liga, and Alves explains that it's normal for the two perennial favourites to face off numerous times.
"We really enjoy playing against Real Madrid. There is always a certain balance between the two teams when we meet, regardless of the form in previous weeks," Alves said in an interview with Barca TV.
"We meet again, and that's only normal. Big teams that fight for the same trophies will meet more than once per season.
"We will be well prepared and then we'll see what happens. I have already featured in plenty of games like this and the overall balance is positive."
