Valencia defender Adil Rami has distanced himself from reports of a potential move to Manchester United by pledging his future to the club.
Recent speculation has seen the English champions allegedly pinpoint the 26-year-old as the ideal replacement for injured duo Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
But speaking to Superdeporte on Wednesday, he spoke of his passion to build a legacy in the Primera Division.
"Currently, I am only thinking about Valencia and fighting for a major trophy like the Copa del Rey," said Rami.
"Here I feel well and my desire is to become an important player of this historic team.
"Of course the interest of a team like United is nice, but it is not my goal."
Rami joined Valencia during the summer following a successful four-year spell with Lille, where he earned international recognition with France.
