Galatasaray interested in Atletico Madrid's Jose Antonio Reyes - report
The Turkish outfit have allegedly set their sights on the 28-year-old winger, who appears to have a fractious relationship with the club's current boss, Gregorio Manzano
Galatasaray are interested in signing Atletico Madrid winger Jose Antonio Reyes, AS reports.
The Spain international is expected to leave the Vicente Calderon in January after falling out with coach Gregorio Manzano last month.
Television footage appeared to show Reyes swearing at the coach after being substituted in the second half of his side's 3-0 La Liga defeat against Athletic Bilbao on October 27. Since then, he has not been included in a match squad.
Sevilla have been touted as another potential destination for the 28-year-old, who played at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan from 1994 to 2004, but Galatasaray have reportedly joined the race for his signature.
The Turkish giants were credited with an interest in Reyes during the summer, but their approach was immediately rejected by the player.
It is reported that Atletico will not stand in the way of Reyes moving to Galatasaray, who will now have to persuade the player he can further his career in Turkey.
