Neymar da Silva Santos gave no credence to reports linking his son with a move to the Camp Nou and suggests the striker is only thinking about the Club World Cup with Santos
A report in Estado de Sao Paulo on Saturday claimed that the Brazil international had parted company with his agent Wagner Ribeiro and that he had agreed to join the Spanish and European champions.
This suggestion has already been denied by Santos president Luis Alvaro, and Neymar's father has now backed the Brazilian club's chief.
"There is no pre-contract, nothing," Neymar da Silva Santos told ESPN Brazil. "He [Neymar] has the Club World Cup for Santos ahead of him.
"Those are just speculations, we already said this during the transfer window. I am surprised. All this news about Neymar has emerged since he was 13."
Neymar senior also stressed that the 19-year-old is still represented by Ribeiro and said: "Wagner is still the agent of Neymar, who remains my son. Nothing has changed."
