The Portugal international enjoyed a dream game in his first league encounter of the season as he netted three goals to fire Real Madrid to a 6-0 victory.
Ronaldo was happy with his own performance but stressed that it is collective play, rather than individual displays, that wins matches.
"First off, you have to congratulate the team for the victory. I managed to score three goals because of my team-mates," he said after the match.
"We are a team, I help this team and this team helps me. We will not win anything if we are not together.
"We wanted to play well and get off on the right foot and we managed to do it by scoring six goals in a difficult stadium."
The former Manchester United man also praised Kaka, who has been linked with a move since the end of the last season and scored one of Madrid's goals at Zaragoza.
"Kaka is as important to this team as the rest of the players," Ronaldo noted.
