The Turkey international has finally made his move to the Vicente Calderon outfit, signing a long-term deal with the Spanish outfit
Contract: June 2015
Atletico Madrid have completed their €13 million (£11.4m) transfer of Arda Turan from Turkish club Galatasaray.
Turan, 24, has penned a four-year deal with the Vicente Calderon-based club after passing a medical on Friday.
The move had been in the pipeline as Gala confirmed they had reached an agreement with the Spanish side over a deal on Tuesday.
A statement on Atletico Madrid's official website reads:
"Arda Turan is Atletico Madrid's new signing after passing his medical on Friday. The new player has signed a four-year deal with the club."
Galatasaray will receive €12m (£10.5m) and a further €1m (£900,000) in bonuses from Atletico.
The Turkey international had long been a target of Atletico, with Galatasaray first announcing in March they had begun negotiations with the Spanish outfit over a transfer.
