thumbnail Hello,

With just over a month to go before the two meet in the first leg of Spain's Supercopa, Goal.com lists the complete set of fixtures for the title-contending duo

It was barely a month ago that the season came to a close in Spain, marked by a series of four Clasico clashes in quick succession and culminating in Barcelona's superb 3-1 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League final on May 29.

Barcelona also won La Liga, of course, although Real have been strengthening this summer and are set to mount a strong challenge next term. In around five weeks, Spain's two biggest sides return to face each other over two legs in the Supercopa, which promises to be a tasty aperitivo ahead of the real deal. La Liga is back.

In the fixtures, which were announced on Wednesday, Barca kick off the defence of their Primera Division title with a trip to Malaga, a side that has benefitted from huge investment this summer and that will be hoping to challenge at the right end of the table next term.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, start with an equally mouth-watering clash at home to Athletic Bilbao, who could then be coached by former Argentina and Chile boss Marcelo Bielsa.

The big two are due to play each other on December 11 at the Santiago Bernabeu, although that fixture is set to be moved due to Barca's participation in the World Club Cup, and on April 21 or 22 at Camp Nou.

All of the fixtures for the big two are listed below - home games are in bold.
