Emilio Butragueno, director of institutional relations at Real Madrid, has voiced his admiration for Santos sensation Neymar and has hinted that the Copa del Rey winners could make a move for the attacker to further improve their team.

The 19-year-old forward is one of the most sought-after players around following a string of superb performances for club and country and Real Madrid are reportedly in talks with Santos to negotiate a transfer.

"We currently have a great squad and some might argue that it doesn't make sense to sign a new forward," Butragueno was quoted as saying by EFE.

"However, there's always room to improve the team. We already have great strikers, but you never know in football. Sergio Aguero and Neymar are both geat players. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

"Neymar is a great prospect with a lot of potential. There is no doubt that he has extraordinary talents. I'm convinced that he will soon be a leading figure in the footballing world."

Neymar, who has a contract until the summer of 2015 with Santos, is currently playing at the Copa America with Brazil and it's unlikely that a decision on his future will be made before the end of the tournament.
