Napoli striker Edinson Cavani has told Goal.com that he is pleased with the way things are going at the Serie A side, but added that he would be open to a summer transfer if Real Madrid made an approach for him.

The Spanish giants have been linked with a number of forwards so far this summer, and the 24-year-old is reportedly one of the candidates to move to Santiago Bernabeu, although Santos ace Neymar currently appears to be their prime target.

Cavani told Goal.com: "We have arranged everything to stay at Napoli. I think that my adventure there will continue. However, things could change when Real Madrid come calling. I think that we'd have to reconsider and talk with Napoli about it if something like that happens.

"I am willing to listen to anything they have to offer. However, I'd also be ready to listen to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and obey him."

Cavani has a contract until the summer of 2016 with Napoli, and enjoyed a sensational 2010-11 campaign, with his goals firing the Stadio San Paolo side into the Champions League.

The striker is currently at the Copa America with Uruguay, who drew their opener with Peru and will take on Chile in their next game on July 9.
