Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that Javier Pastore will move to either Spain or England, insisting that Real Madrid and Malaga are leading the race for his signature.
Manchester City have been linked with a move for the Argentine midfielder and Zamparini admits the 22-year-old could make a switch to the Premier League.
"He will go to Spain or England. I exclude Barcelona. Real Madrid and Malaga are favourites," he told Radio Rai.
The Palermo president also suggested that if a deal is not concluded within 15 days, Pastore will stay with the Serie A outfit.
"The situation is the hands of the attorney, but in 15 days his future should be solved, otherwise he will stay with us," Zamparini added.
"It is 90 per cent sure he will leave, because that is the player's wish. It is too bad, because he is the only world-class player I have had as a president."
