The Catalan giants secured the league for the third time in a row on Wednesday evening by recording a 1-1 draw away to Levante, with Seydou Keita on the scoresheet
Puyol, who did not take part in the 1-1 draw with Levante which clinched the title, says his side will celebrate their success before turning their attentions to the Champions League final with Manchester United on May 28.
"I have to stay calm, but I'm obviously very pleased with this title. It's a bit strange as I didn't play and was forced to watch from the stands. Nevertheless, I'm delighted that we've won La Liga again," Puyol was quoted as saying by AS.
"All the league titles are pretty important for me. We have worked very hard to achieve this and got our reward today [Wednesday]. We will relax now and celebrate a little bit before we shift focus to the Champions League final."
