Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is in no doubt that the Copa del Rey final will be contested between his team and Barcelona, after his side took a 1-0 advantage from the first leg against Sevilla yesterday evening.
A superb finish from Karim Benzema, who has now scored the decisive goal in the last two games for Jose Mourinho's men, gave Madrid a cushion heading into the second leg.
However, Ronaldo believes his side already have one foot in the final, and is already looking forward to the showpiece game.
"In the Copa del Rey final will be the best two teams in the country," Ronaldo was quoted as saying by Marca.
"Although I must say this is not going to be about revenge. As for the game against Sevilla, we could have scored more than just one goal, but it's still a good result."
Despite what Ronaldo says, Real Madrid will certainly still remember their 5-0 humbling at the hands of Barcelona in El Clasico in late November.
Barcelona also cruised to a 5-0 first leg victory in their semi-final against Almeria last night, all but stamping their name on the decider.
