Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos could be set for a stunning exit from the Santiago Bernabeu, as rumours circulate of a strained relationship with team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ramos’ dressing room arguments with Ronaldo have led him to consider his future in the capital, and has subsequently stalled on signing a new deal in order to assess his options elsewhere.
A journalist working for French publication Le Parisien, Julien Laurens, revealed on Twitter: “I have been told that Sergio Ramos could be leaving Real Madrid. He would be perfect for Arsenal, a world class player who will bring a winning mentality.”
Should Ramos indeed decide to leave Real Madrid it is likely that a host of Premier League sides would join the Gunners in the race for his signature, with both Manchester clubs as well as Chelsea in a position to meet his demands.
