Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho attempted last minute raid for Inter's Samuel Eto'o - report
Florentino Perez showed Jose Mourinho who's boss at Real Madrid, by reportedly blocking the coach's attempt to sign Samuel Eto'o from Inter.
El Mundo Deportivo claims Mourinho pleaded with the president to make some last-dash moves on Tuesday, but his appeals were turned down.
Mourinho was eager to land Eto'o, his former star at Inter, or Didier Drogba from Chelsea.
But Perez reminded him he already has both Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain in his squad, thus reducing the need to scrape together transfers for strikers.
