Real Madrid won't copy Barcelona's spectacular football - Jose Mourinho
But coach not interested in second place...
By Salvatore Landolina
Barring Inter's Maicon, Mourinho signed the players he wanted during the transfer market and he believes he can overhaul Barcelona in the race for the Primera Division as he attempts to bag the title in his maiden season.
"Barcelona play very well, but we have no intention to copy them, and at the same time I have no will to finish second," he told Marca.
"We have to hope [Karim] Benzema and [Gonzalo] Higuain stay injury free because this could be a problem for us."
Mourinho also admitted that his side's key man Cristiano Ronaldo would shoulder most of Madrid's hopes, adding: "[Cristiano] Ronaldo? With a talent like his it would be a shame not to make history."
