Klose - whose contract with Lazio is due to end in 2015 - previously hinted that he might retire from football once his deal finishes but Lotito is keen for him to extend his stay with the Bianconeri.
"How many millions was Klose’s goal worth? He is not for sale! It would be practical for him to continue the sport here in Rome. Klose can become the most prolific striker of all time," Lotito told Radio 2.
"Everyone said that I was wrong to renew his contract and the facts are proving the contrary.
"Have you seen how strong he is in his later years? Wine improves with the passage of time and the same thing applies for Miro.
"Klose is steel. I hope he can finish his career with Lazio."
Klose will look to become the all-time highest goalscorer at the World Cup when Germany play their final group game against United States in Recife on June 26.
