Moussa Sissoko says that his client, who has been linked with Bayern Munich, will make a decision on his future with the Giallorossi after talks with the club's directors
The Morocco international has enjoyed a stellar debut season at the Stadio Olimpico, after joining from Udinese for €13.5 million last summer, and his performances have reportedly attracted the attention of Europe's elite, with Bayern Munich said to be particularly keen on the centre-half.
Benatia's representative, Moussa Sissoko, has now confirmed that his client, who still has just over four years to run on his Roma contract, is very much in demand.
"We will have a meeting with Roma," the agent told L'Equipe. "The directors are aware of the fact that big clubs are interested.
"After the meeting with Roma we will see what Mehdi's decision will be. Although today, he feels very, very happy at Roma."
The 26-year-old Benatia has played an integral role in the Giallorossi's remarkable resurgence this season under coach Rudi Garcia, netting five times in Serie A.
