Chiellini: Juventus are back on track

The Italian defender has hailed his side's response to recent defeats and feels they are on the right path again following back-to-back victories over Genoa and Catania
Giorgio Chiellini has voiced his satisfaction with Juventus' 4-0 Serie A win over Catania, believing the title-holders to be back on track again.

The Turin giants briefly went through a difficult period earlier in October with a draw against Galatasaray and defeats versus Fiorentina and Real Madrid, but they have since recorded victories over Genoa and now Catania to return to winning ways, much to the delight of Chiellini.

"It was important to keep a clean sheet tonight, something that shows we’re on the right track," the Italy international told reporters.

"We got into too much difficulty in the opening stages of both halves, but managed to make the most of the opportunities that came our way.

"It’s too early to speak about the league table at present, we’d prefer to think about Saturday’s clash with Parma. It’s a fundamental game as far as we’re concerned."

Juventus currently sit third in the Serie A table with 25 points from 10 games.
