The defender knows that the Rossoneri have a lot to work on if they are to finish in the top three but feels that the return of some key players from injury will aid their cause
The Rossoneri currently sit 12th in Serie A, with only eight points from seven games, and, although their 31-year-old full-back was pleased by his side's performance in Turin, he feels that they will have to step up their game if they are to finish in the top three again this term.
"It was a balanced game," the 31-year-old told the club's official website. "We maintained good ball possession and nearly earned a draw but, while the performance was there, it's the results that matter.
"We work hard because we know that we need to improve. We are all ready, no matter who is on the pitch. The important thing is to win."
The defender feels that the return of Stephan El Sharaawy, Kaka and Giampaolo Pazzini, all of whom are currently out injured, will give his team a huge boost.
"With the recovery of the injured players the coach will have more choice and we are all ready to give our best and our contribution," he argued.
Massimiliano Allegri's men will resume their Serie A campaign after the international break with a home game against Udinese.
