The Ivory Coast international has been in fine form for the Giallorossi after a disappointing spell at Arsenal and feels his side are serious challengers for the Scudetto this term
The Giallorossi have won all six of their league games so far, conceding just once, and the in-form Ivorian is very positive about their hopes for the season.
"We can win the Scudetto," the 26-year-old told Corriere dello Sport.
"The team is playing very well, and we are compact and determined. We have set ourselves the objective of winning Serie A and we won't be satisfied until we achieve that."
The 26-year-old had a disappointing spell at Arsenal prior to his move to Italy, but says he couldn't be happier with how things are going at his new club.
"I knew exactly what I was looking for when I joined Roma: the chance to play more, a coach who showed faith in me and a club with high ambitions," he continued.
"It is a fun place full of lots of jokes, but there is also a great passion and spirit within the squad, both on and off the field."
The Cote d'Ivoire international also spoke of his delight at playing alongside Roma legend Francesco Totti.
"I never imagined I would be playing alongside [Francesco] Totti.
"It is a pleasure to be in the same side as him, and he has already assisted two or three of my goals."
