The Uruguay star's representative has praised his client after his performance in the Partenopei's 3-1 victory on Sunday
The Uruguayan star bagged a hat-trick during his side's 3-1 win over the Nerazzurri at the San Paolo on Sunday and his representative believes his love for the Partenopei brings the best from him.
Manchester City and Chelsea have both been linked with moves for Cavani, although Goal.com exclusively revealed that the former are set to move focus to Zlatan Ibrahimovic if they are priced out of a switch.
"Cavani is an alien and he shows his attachment to the shirt every time he steps on the field," the player's representative told Radio CRC.
"I got excited at the San Paolo because I realised I was the agent of a player who is second only to [Diego] Maradona.
"Yesterday evening was one to remember. We have witnessed a monstrous game. Edi was incredible. Everyone spoke of him like he was an alien."
Anellucci went on to say that critics who thought Cavani would not be able to score the same number of goals without the support of departed team-mate Ezequiel Lavezzi had been proven right as his client has improved this season.
"Someone said that without Lavezzi, he would not score the same number goals. And they were right. He even scores more."
