The midfielder, who has yet to score for his new club, joined from Dinamo Zagreb in January and is confident they will enjoy a bright future despite a poor recent run of results
The 18-year-old midfielder has been as frustrated as any by the club’s recent downturn in fortunes, with a run of four defeats in five matches putting their hopes of European qualification at risk.
But Kovacic is confident Andrea Stramaccioni’s side can finish the season on a high and then build a squad which can again be competitive at the highest level in the near future.

"We have not done well in the last few games. We need to win our last four because the season is not over yet. We can play well and I hope we show that."
Javier Zanetti’s Achilles injury has dominated Inter headlines this week and doubts have been raised over whether the Argentine's star-studded career could be ended by it.
Kovavic said: "First and foremost, Javier is a lovely human being. Then, he is a great captain. I'm very happy to have got to know him, and sad about the injury he's suffered. But I know he'll be fit and back among us soon.
"I know it's a bad injury, but I hope he's back soon and we'll be waiting for him."
Despite the team’s struggles, Kovacic’s personal performances since joining the club have seen him praised and the midfielder said he has been enjoying himself with Inter.
"I would like to say a big thank you to all of the fans. I am very happy to be here at this club," he said.
