Conte calls on Juventus fans to end racist chants

The successful trainer has told the Old Lady's supporters not to repeat recent racist chants as he feels they should be cheering for Juve instead
Juventus coach Antonio Conte has urged his side's fans to focus on supporting the team rather than launching insulting and racist chants at the opposition.

The Serie A champions were recently punished for their fans' behaviour, and Conte has insisted that the Bianconeri faithful must put a stop to racist chants.

"We’ve recently been fined for chants at the stadium," Conte told the official Juventus website.

"I’d ask our fans to focus on our team, because it’s nice to hear them cheer for Juve and the players. Chanting about other sides doesn’t interest us.

"I hope we don’t see a repeat of certain situations and I don’t want us to be made to play behind closed doors for daft comments."

Juventus lock horns with Bologna at the Renato Dall'Ara on Saturday evening.
