The Italy international is not surprised by the Bianconeri's success, and believes Inter and AC Milan are struggling due to their unimpressive efforts in the transfer market
The Old Lady remained unbeaten in the league last term as they cruised to the domestic title, while they once more sit atop of the table this season.
Nevertheless, Aquilani is not too impressed with the Bianconeri's success as he believes it is all the result of financial investment.
"I think Juventus will win the Scudetto. But then again, when you spend €200 million [£165m], you are going to win something sooner or later. It would be ridiculous if the opposite happened," Aquilani was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.
The midfielder then went on to talk about AC Milan and Inter, and pointed out that their struggles are partially down to their unimpressive transfer dealings.
"You always have high expectations from clubs like them. They are going through a difficult time, though, also because their transfers have been less impressive than in recent years," he added.
Aquilani's Viola have been one of the surprise packages of the season and currently sit fourth in the table.
