The former Chievo defender feels that the South American pair are on another level than the other forwards in the league as AC Milan and Napoli prepare to meet on SaturdayFrancesco Acerbi feels that AC Milan team-mate Alexandre Pato and Napoli attacker Edinson Cavani are the finest attacking talents on show in Serie A.
The Uruguay international has netted an impressive eight goals in 10 league appearances this term, and while the Brazilian is yet to score in Italy since returning from injury, the 24-year-old has been impressed by his ability.
"Cavani and Pato are the best strikers around in the league in my opinion," Acerbi told Milan Channel ahead of this weekend's match between the two sides at the San Paolo.
"Cavani deserves all the praise he has received this season when you look at the goals he has scored. He is only human, though, and we can stop him.
"Pato has absolutely no reason to be envious of him."
Saturday's encounter is scheduled to kick off at 20:45CET.
