The Argentine attacker was delighted with his side's performance on Sunday, and had nothing but positive words for his new team-mateDiego Milito has taken the time to praise Antonio Cassano in the wake of Inter's 3-0 Serie A win over Pescara on Sunday.
The Argentine striker netted once and set up two more on the former AC Milan attacker's official Inter debut, and he was quick to stress that he has an excellent understanding with his new team-mate.
"Cassano? A fantastic player. We have an abundance of riches in the final third. And today we were without [Rodrigo] Palacio and [Ricky] Alvarez too. It's a privilege to be able to play alongside them," Milito stated to Inter Channel.
"Do I get on with Cassano? We had a very good relationship even as rivals. Now we're both here and aiming to do well together for the Inter cause."
The prolific attacker then briefly reflected on his side's win over Pescara, and was very pleased with the Nerazzurri's display.
"First and foremost I'm pleased with the way we played as a team. Inter were excellent."
The Giuseppe Meazza side take on Vaslui on Thursday in the Europa League, before resuming Serie A duty against Roma on Sunday.
