Napoli are considering making moves for Atalanta winger Ezequiel Schelotto and three exciting young South Americans, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The Partenopei are intent on signing a wide player before the new Serie A season gets underway on the weekend of August 26 after the sale of Ezequiel Lavezzi to Paris Saint-Germain.
Palermo left-back Federico Balzaretti remains of interest but Napoli are more preoccupied with strengthening their right-hand side given they already have Andrea Dossena and the versatile Juan Zuniga at their disposal.
Consequently, the Coppa Italia champions are eyeing up Schelotto, whose impressive form for Atalanta last season earned him inclusion in the Azzurri's preliminary squad for Euro 2012.
In addition, Napoli are also keeping tabs on 18-year-old right-back Wallace Oliveira dos Santos. Current employers Fluminense have no interest in selling the Brazilian, who is under contract until 2014, but the Partenopei closely monitoring the player.
The Serie A side are also interested in River Plate duo Ezequiel Cirigliano and Lucas Ocampos. While Manchester United are believed to be at the head of queue for the former, who has been compared to Javier Mascherano, Napoli have already enquired about the latter and been told by River that they will not accept anything less than €14 million for the teenage midfielder.
Napoli have cash to spend following the sale of Lavezzi to earlier in July.
