The Nerazzurri supremo admitted that the club needs to raise funds by parting ways with some of their current players in order to continue to overhaul their squadInter president Massimo Moratti has intimated that the club will not make new signings before first clearing out the squad.
The Nerazzurri are currently in the market for new players as coach Andrea Stramaccioni looks to revamp his recently-inherited side after the club finished in a disappointing sixth place in Serie A last season.
Genoa's Rodrigo Palacio has already signed for Inter, while Palermo defender Matias Silvestre is closing in on a move to San Siro, but Moratti has hinted that there may not be any further new signings for now.
"There is nothing to say about the transfer market," Moratti told reporters. "Do we have to sell first? Certainly ..."
Dutch starlet Luc Castaignos is expected to be one of the first players to depart Inter after claiming earlier in the month that the club wanted to sell him due to his refusal to leave on loan.
