thumbnail Hello,

The Partenopei are allegedly keen on landing the Argentine full-back, but his representative does not know whether the Russian club will let the player leave

Napoli have expressed an interest in Rubin Kazan left-back Cristian Ansaldi, his agent has revealed.

The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Benfica in the last two transfer windows, but the Portuguese club failed to reach an agreement with the Russians on both occasions.

Ansaldi's representative now claims that his client is relishing the prospect of moving to the Stadio San Paolo, but conceded he does not know whether Rubin Kazan are willing to sell the Argentine.

"Ansaldi is a good player and one of the most reliable in his position," Stefano Caira told Radio Crc.

"Napoli are interested, and they have asked me for information. We must still figure out what Rubin Kazan's intentions are, considering the player's price tag.

"Cristian would like to join Napoli, who are a big club in Europe. It would be a great solution for him, but it will all depend on what Rubin decide."
