Sao Paulo were believed to have turned down sizeable offer from the Nerazzurri for the teenager in January, but they could go back in for him this summer with a bigger offer

Inter are reportedly mulling over whether to increase their bid for Sao Paulo starlet Lucas Moura.

The Nerazzurri failed with an £14.5 million bid for the versatile 19-year-old attacking midfielder during the January transfer window but, according to Tuttosport, club president Massimo Moratti and technical director Marco Branca remain keen on the player.
40/1 Lucas Moura is 40/1 to finish as the Brazilian Serie A top scorer with Sportingbet.

Lucas has already been capped 11 times by Brazil and is considered one of his country's most exciting young talents. However, the paper claims that there is a reluctance on Inter's part to spend such a large sum of money on a teenager.

There is also the fact that Real Madrid are interested and the Serie A giants, who are planning to dramatically revamp their squad this summer, have no intention of getting involved in a bidding war with the Liga giants.

Lucas, who is a product of Sao Paulo's youth system, has already stated that he would be happy to continue learning his trade at the Morumbi for the foreseeable future.
