Christian Maggio has conceded that Ezequiel Lavezzi will likely leave Napoli in the summer transfer window.The Argentina international has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter, and Maggio has stressed that the Napoli players have been aware of Lavezzi's desire to move on for quite a while.
"We have known for some time that Pocho [Lavezzi] wants to leave the club," Maggio said at a press conference.
"The fact that big clubs are showing an interest in signing players like Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani shows that Napoli's football is being appreciated."
The 27-year-old Lavezzi has a contract with Napoli that runs until the summer of 2015, but reportedly has a release clause of €31 million (£25m).
