thumbnail Hello,

The 36-year-old announced last week that he will leave the club, bringing an end to a trophy-laden ten-year stint, but stated that he is assessing every option about a move

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has stated that he is considering all his possible destinations after announcing his departure from the Rossoneri.

The former Dutch international called time on his career in Italy, playing his 300th and final Serie A game for Massimiliano Allegri's men in the 2-1 win over Novara on Sunday.

However, Seedorf stated that he wants to keep on playing, and dismissed speculation that he could retire.

"I am the last of my generation who is still playing, and I would like to just keep [on playing]," the 36-year-old was quoted as saying. "As long as I feel fit and have passion, I will keep playing. Then I'll see.

"Within seven to 10 days, I hope to give more clarity. It's more exciting than difficult, because I'm happy [that there are] choices of where I could go."

Seedorf remained coy about a possible move back to his first club Ajax, where he won two Eredivisie titles as well as the Champions League in 1995.

"I grew up at Ajax, had my debut and my first successes. That is always special. The door is therefore always open to Ajax," Seedorf told the Amsterdam club's official website.

"If I were able to do something in the future for the club, I'm certainly open to that."

AC Milan side ended the Serie A season in second place, four points behind Juventus.
