Ezequiel Lavezzi could be on his way out of Napoli in the summer transfer window as Inter have shown an interest in signing the Argentine attacker, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are in the market for attacking reinforcements due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the future of Diego Forlan, and they reportedly see the 27-year-old Lavezzi as the perfect addition to their squad.

The Argentina international is believed to have a €31 million (£25m) buy-out clause in his current contract with Napoli, but Inter are hopeful of pushing the forward's price down, and will open talks with the Partenopei after the Coppa Italia final.

Napoli lock horns with Juventus on May 20, and Inter do not want to disrupt their preparations for the showpiece in Rome.

Lavezzi joined Napoli from San Lorenzo in the summer of 2007, and has since developed into a key player for the Serie A side.
