AC Milan starlet Stephan El Shaarawy thrilled with win over Udinese
The young attacker was delighted to help the Rossoneri to record an impressive comeback victory over the Friuli with a goal late in the second half
By Stefan Coerts
Antonio Di Natale gave Udinese an early lead, but goals from Maxi Lopez and El Shaarawy helped the Rossoneri to recover and take three points, much to the satisfaction of the young forward.
"We played a really good game today [Saturday] and it was anything but easy against Udinese who have strong legs and real quality," El Shaarawy told the club's official website.
"With a lot of heart and determination we turned the game around.
"I always try and give my all when I get on the pitch. I’ve scored twice in the league, both against Udinese. I’m happy for the goal and for the win."
Argentine striker Maxi Lopez, recently signed from Catania, also got on the scoresheet to cap an impressive display, and El Shaarawy was full of praise for his new team-mate.
"Maxi Lopez is working for the team," he added. "He gives us quality and self-sacrifice. It was a real job that we did here today."
Milan sit top of the table with 47 points from 23 games and have a two-point lead over Juventus, who have two games in hand.
