Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised Juventus coach Antonio Conte for his good work with the Bianconeri this term.

The 42-year-old Conte replaced Luigi Delneri as head coach at the Turin giants at the start of the 2011-12 season, and has guided Juventus to the summit of the Serie A table following a 21-match unbeaten run.

"Conte has already some great work. It comes as a bit of a surprise to me as I thought he would need some more time to adapt to his new project at Juventus," Wenger was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.

"I would have expected him to encounter a few more problems in his new position. But everything's been going very well. He deals with things in an intelligent manner, and has made some great choices on the transfer market."

Aside from Juventus' success in Serie A, the Bianconeri are still in the Coppa Italia as they take on AC Milan in the first leg of the semi-finals this Wednesday.
