Daniele De Rossi: I am staying at Roma because I have everything I need here
The 28-year-old states that he is very happy with life in the Italian capital and hopes to build a legacy at the capital club, as Francesco Totti has done

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has attributed his decision to stay in the Italian capital to his love for life at the club.
After months of speculation linking the 28-year-old with a move away from Stadio Olimpico, De Rossi finally put pen to paper on a new five-year deal this week.
Despite admitting that he was initially reticent over signing the new deal, the Italy international realised that Roma was the right place for him.
"What inspired me is the passion for this team and these people. I realised that I had what I need here," De Rossi said in quotes published by Tuttosport.
"The path to signing the contract was a little long, and I had some hestation. I've heard a thousand people say that it was the end, but I always knew I would have chosen this."
De Rossi went on to say that he hoped to win silverware with the club in the coming years, and that Luis Enrique's men can even harbour Champions League ambitions.
"I hope that we can return to fight for the Scudetto, even the Champions Leauge in the next five years."
The midfielder also voiced his desire to build a legacy at the club, in the same manner that Francesco Totti has done in recent years.
"I was never pressured by Totti but his image, of a man who was happy in Rome and who will finish his career here, was crucial.
"It will be impossible to reach his record. He's loved by all, and is decisive on the pitch. I have great desire to show this as well."
De Rossi's new contract is worth an estimated €10 million per year.
