Fabio Borini says he has full faith in Roma after starring in the club's 4-0 drubbing of Inter at home on Sunday.

The capital side has been under some pressure recently after taking a single point from their prior two matches, but the former Swansea City player notched a brace to help lift his side to victory.

Speaking to Roma Channel after the match, the forward spoke of the immense effort the players are putting in at the moment.

"It's a lot of work, playing three games in a week. It is not easy to manage," he admitted.

In regards to Roma's win over Inter, Borini's brace surprised even himself: "You never expect it, no matter how hard you work for it."

However, he does not want his team to get carried away.

"We conceded little to Inter: we were ordered and cynical going forward.

"After Fiorentina I said the same thing, I have confidence in everyone. I do not read the papers nor watch TV because I do not want to be influenced by external factors. Being praised by [Roma sporting director Walter] Sabatini makes me glad.

"Today we were almost perfect, but we must not let ourselves get infected by the enthusiasm," he warned.

Roma's next engagement is on Tuesday against Catania, to play the remainder of the match that was rained out earlier in the season.
