Roma talisman Francesco Totti has asserted that his side are targeting all three points against Inter in Sunday's match at Stadio Olimpico.

The Italian capital club lie in sixth position in the table and, in the case of a loss, could find themselves eight points behind Inter after the match.

"This will be a great game, especially at this time," Totti told Roma Channel. "We absolutely want to win, we are looking forward to playing.

"A message to the fans? I would tell them to stay close to Roma, because we have always needed the kind of help and affection they have always demonstrated, especially at this moment.

"Then, on the field, we will try to repay them as soon as possible."

Roma, who come off a 4-2 defeat at Catania, will host Inter on Sunday after the match was rescheduled because of the adverse weather conditions in Italy.

"It is strange because it has been a long time since it snowed in Rome," Totti noted.

"This is a unique moment and it will create a very good visual effect."
