Roma coach Luis Enrique has voiced his disappointment with his side's performance in Wednesday's 4-2 Serie A loss away to Cagliari.
The Giallorossi dominated large spells of the game in Sardinia, but were unable to convert their supremacy into a positive result, as David Ballardini's men took all three points.
"Their first chance immediately resulted in a goal, but we fought back after that," Luis Enrique said in his post match press conference.
"Nevertheless, we weren't focused enough and this cost us. We have to improve in every area.
"We were weak in defence, but we can't put all the blame for this loss on the back line. We have to take our chances as well.
"We are going nowhere if we continue to play like this. We have to defend with 11 men and attack with 11 players. I'm very disappointed with this game. We can't have 20 excellent minutes and then be pathetic for the next 20," the Spanish tactician concluded.
Roma currently sit sixth in the Serie A table with 31 points from 20 games, but are now eight points adrift of the top four and Champions League qualification.
