AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has refused to rule out a deadline day move for Carlos Tevez, inviting Manchester City to negotiate with the Italian champions.

The Argentine has not played for the Premier League leaders since allegedly refusing to leave the substitutes' bench against Bayern Munich in September. Although a move to San Siro looked likely, the transfer collapsed earlier this month.

However, Galliani has now stated that he is open to the prospect of negotiating with the Manchester side, inviting them to contact him.

"I can say that I will be in my office until 19.00CET on Tuesday," he told Corriere dello Sport. "The market is nearly closed, but signing Tevez is not impossible. We thought our deals were done on August 31, and then we got Antonio Nocerino from Palermo.

"I wanted two attackers. Maxi Lopez is here, but the other has not arrived yet. I never said that Tevez would not arrive."

However, AC Milan would require Manchester City to drop their asking price by around £7 million in order for the move to come to fruition.
