Former Italy international Luca Toni will be officially unveiled as an Al Nasr player on Monday, according to Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta.
Al Nasr confirmed to Goal.com earlier this week that the 34-year-old striker, who is currently on the books of Juventus, had been in discussions with the title-chasing UAE Pro-League outfit.
And Marotta confirmed to RAI that the move would be made official by Al Nasr on Monday.
"Toni’s move to Al Nasr is not yet official, but we believe it will be completed tomorrow,” Marotta said.
The veteran, who hasn't made one appearance for Juventus this season, would link up with ex-Italy international goalkeeper Walter Zenga in Dubai.
Toni has vast experience having previously played for Bayern Munich, AS Roma, Fiorentina, Palermo, while he was part of the Italian side which won the 2006 Fifa World Cup.
Meanwhile, Sport360 has reported that Birmingham City's Serbian striker Nikola Zigic was offered to Al Nasr this week, however the move for Toni means such a deal is extremely unlikely.
